Branding, E-commerce Design & Development for BASK
Overview
This project involved creating a complete visual identity and e-commerce platform for BASK, a brand focused on UV-protective swimwear for children designed to protect skin from harmful sun exposure.
My role covered the entire process, including brand identity design, UX/UI design of the online store, development, and deployment.
The Challenge
The main objective was to build a consistent brand presence both online and across physical materials used in the product packaging and marketing.
The project included:
- designing the brand logo and visual identity,
- creating a modern e-commerce store,
- designing printed branding materials used with the products.
The visual direction focused on creating a design that is:
- minimal and elegant,
- associated with nature and skin protection,
- friendly and trustworthy for parents shopping for children.
UX/UI Design for the Online Store
The store was designed with a strong focus on clarity and simplicity of the shopping experience.
Key UX/UI elements included:
- a clear product category structure,
- product pages focused on visuals and UV protection information,
- a minimal interface highlighting product quality,
- a fully responsive design optimized for mobile shopping.
The goal was to create a platform where users can quickly explore products and complete purchases with minimal friction.
Development & Implementation
Following the design phase, the store was fully coded and deployed.
Key implementation elements included:
- development of core e-commerce functionality,
- performance optimization,
- a scalable structure allowing easy product management.
The result is a fast and user-friendly store that effectively supports the brand’s online sales.
Brand Identity & Packaging Design
The project also included creating a complete visual identity system for the brand.
Deliverables included:
- logo design,
- business card design,
- packaging stickers and product labels,
- a consistent visual language used across marketing materials.
This ensured that the brand maintains a coherent and professional image across both digital and physical touchpoints.
