Overview
This project involved developing and integrating a new landing page for ÂMÉ Living, an e-commerce store operating on the Shopify platform and offering skincare products formulated with active ingredients such as vitamin C, peptides, and hyaluronic acid.
My role focused on coding the landing page based on the UX/UI design created by designer Pola Fijałkowska, and integrating it with the existing store architecture.
The Challenge
The project required combining advanced frontend design with an already existing Shopify store codebase.
Key challenges included:
- implementing a complex UI design,
- integrating the new landing page into the existing storefront,
- adapting the code to the current theme structure,
- fixing basic functional and frontend issues on the store.
The goal was to introduce a visually strong marketing page while maintaining compatibility with the existing e-commerce platform.
UX/UI & Frontend Experience
The landing page focuses on premium aesthetics and product storytelling.
Key implementation elements included:
- sections presenting products and their active ingredients,
- modern content layout aligned with the brand’s visual identity,
- dynamic visual elements and animations,
- responsive layouts optimized for different devices.
The frontend implementation ensured the design was accurately translated into a smooth and engaging user experience.
Development & Integration
The landing page was implemented using the core technologies of the Shopify ecosystem.
Technology stack:
- Shopify (Liquid) — theme structure and store integration
- JavaScript — interactive frontend components
- CSS — styling and responsive layout
The work also included:
- integrating the new page with the existing store structure,
- fixing code issues and bugs,
- improving stability and frontend performance.
